New Year...new trends...same old you!! Just kidding.
But hey, hair is important you know. And you need to know what to do with it and what NOT to do with it this year. So I got you a list.

What to do:
1. Get waves and those oh-so romantic curls.
2. Or just keep your hair natural for a while, with no chemicals or products that can damage or roughen your hair.
3. Hair extensions are definitely in and about time you got one. Just for a change.
4. Long, flowy, Rapunzal locks are always a crowd puller.
5. Bed head is still in (thankfully) and so are pixes and bobs.
6. If you’re a businesswoman, keeping them short and neat will be the key.
7. And if you can manage it, then get some funky hair accessories. They will serve you well on a dull day.

What not to do:
1. Avoid styles that require you to use chemicals on your hair. Remember hair once damaged takes a long time to get back it former strength and shine.
2. Messy hair, as opposed to the carefully styled bed-head, is never in and it won’t be in this year either. So if you have them long, learn to keep them done. If you can’t put too much effort into it just blow-dry and straighten with a flat iron. Or do the roll-up-n-pin-up thing that gives you subtle waves in just 15 minutes flat.

What the men should do:
Good news guys, the short clean style that is above the collar is back and the look is expected to stay the while (leave the longer dos for the boys).
The color of the season:
Brunette is back with a bang for all those who are looking to break-away from a monotonous look. But for those who don’t want to do anything extreme, lighter, warmer shades should be ideal. And just so you know, natural hair color is quite in these days as well.
